Nintendo is going to showcase a variety of Nintendo Switch at E3 2019 in the coming days. Before the release, the company dedicated a pre-E3 presentation for the upcoming Pokemon game "Sword and Shield". During the stream, Nintendo company gave us a quick look at how Switch games' World works as well as new gameplay mechanics (kind like Dynamax transformations) and a handful of brand-new 8th Generation Pokemon.

Among lot of other gameplay details, the Pokemon Direct confirmed to released of Sword and Shield, and gave us a quick look on some of the Pokemons, including two Legendaries as well as new open-world elements and Multiplayer feature. THere are still some questions we have, such as whether the random encounters are gone, as it appears to be, but now we have a much better understanding of Sword and Shield. That is a really good news, considering the release date is just a couple months away.

POKEMON SWORD AND SHIELD RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED

During the Nintendo Direct, they confirmed that the game is set to release on 15 November, 2019. It's a global release date so we don't need to rush and look up for the official release date on the Internet. You can pre-order the game now, however the game has two standalone versions, a dual pack with both versions will also be available soon.

NEW LEGENDARIES REVEALED

Nintendo also introduced all of us with Pokemon Sword and Shield's two new Pokemon. Zacian is the Sword legendary, holding a sword like-structure in his mouth and Zemazenta having a Shield-like design over his chest.

NEW CHARACTERS AND STORY DETAILS REVEALED

Pokemon Sword and Shield's character and story were the main key in Direct event. Nintendo introduced a brand new region called 'Galar region' and of course its brand new Pokemon professor, Rival, and the Champion, and we got to know that those giant stadiums were Pokemon Gym.

NEW GEN 8 POKEMON REVEALED
Of Course, with new region we'll get to see new Pokemons. Just like previous Pokemon games we'll be able to catch, befriend, and battle in Sword and Shield.
